Wait for replot() FinishedReturn to overview

Hello, I had a custom class which inherited from QCustomPlot, and I need to start a timer after the plot initialization finished, because I don't want plot initialization affect the timer. I was wondering if the plotting precess was on another thread. Are there some good ways to detect if the replot() function has already finished?
Thank you!

replot() is not executed on another thread, because it needs to paint on the plot widget.
The afterReplot() signal will be emitted after each replot(). So you can connect a slot to this signal and check if the plot has reploted at least once.
