QCustomPlot plot Scatter graph above Value AxesReturn to overview

I have a simple question to you, can I draw graph (only some scatter) above Value axes (yAxis2)?

I hope attached Picture explain my idea. Picture one is actual look and Picture two is requied look.

Thank you for help and your time!!

Any idea?
Is this even possible?
Thank you for answer..

maybe I'm missing it but I can't actually see a difference between your two screenshots, as to how it is and how you want it. As far as drawing something on the axis, I've never tried this. As far as I know you can't have the plot draw on the axis, but perhaps you could subclass the axis class and modify the way it's drawn to show what you need?

Yes sorry for this, i place here two same screen shots.

now fixed.

For your understanding i need simple way to draw Scatter (Dot) above value axis in realTime plot.
Or I need some pointer value with same color on the axis.

Now is axis draw over the graph (Dot scatter), but i need it conversely, that mean graph over axis.

Thank you for your time!

Has anyone idea what can i do for fix this problem?

You can easily do this with items, for example QCPItemTracer. Just make sure its clipping is off (I think setClipToAxisRect(false)) and then position the x value to the axis position and the y value to the coordinate you want.

Hi Jean,

I never work with QCPItem, so can u place me here some short example code?

Thank you very much,
Regards! David

Have a look at the new tutorial which describes exactly this case, due to popular request:
