QCustomPlot Discussion and Comments

Advanced Interactive ToolbarReturn to overview

Hi Emanuel,

I only just found QCustomPlot a couple of weeks ago. I've been using Qwt for years and have become frustrated with the development architecture of Qwt 6.x. So I gave QCustomPlot a try and found the interaction to be fantastic. As a demonstrator I have developed an example ChartManager that sits over the top of QCustomPlot and has a context sensitive interactive toolbar to allow editing of titles, axes, and graphs. I'd like to provide you with the source code so that you can use whatever you like from it, or just add it as an extra example. Do you have somewhere I can post/email the source code?

Shane

That sounds interesting. You may contact me via the email address given on the contact page.

I have just sent the code to your support email address. Have Fun!

Shane

Is it possible to share the code example here?
It would be really helpful to me - as I was also trying to do something like this but no success still.. (

I want to add zoom in/out buttons and autosize. Also want to put two trackers and measure the distance between two points.

Too much code to make available in this forum space. Unfortunately the forum does not support file attachments. Happy to email it to you.

Besides the fact that this sounds pretty interesting I'd like to know from DerManu if the provided source code is going to be implemented for any further features.

BTW, sdhengsoft, I'd like to have the source code too. Could you please send it to me?

Hello Mr.Shane,
Could you also send me the code to the address anastasia.v.afonina@gmail.com?
thanks in advance.

Guys, any news about this famous advanced interactive toolbar ? It sounds neat but has anyone seen it in action ? Maybe it will be part of the next QCP release ?

Hmm this toolbar sounds interesting and useful. I don't need it right for some of the things I'm working on so I won't post my e-mail asking for the code, as I'm sure that can be a frustrating way of sharing it over and over. I could certainly see it coming in handy for some other things I have planned, but haven't started on. I would love to hear an update on what's going on with this code if anyone has one. Was it uploaded somewhere it could more easily be shared (such as github?), might it be rolled into a future release of QCP such as v2.0?

send me too...
thnx...
